Role: Enterprise Cloud Engineer

Location: Bern, Switzerland

Salary: 110-130k CHF

Working model: Hybrid, 80% home office

They are now looking for an Enterprise Cloud Engineer to help plan and manage cloud projects, often on hyper-converged infrastructure, and utilise your automation & virtualization expertise in hybrid and/or multi-cloud environments. Alongside both software and hardware teams, you'll also contribute toward their internal portfolio; creating innovative solutions for now and contribute toward the elevation of the technology for the future.

With a core focus on Cloud Native development across different cloud environments, a background in systems and/or network engineering is a huge bonus for the role as you'll be working closely with the software and hardware engineers in the team, to provide the best managed solutions for the customers.

Your tasks

  • Plan and contribute technical concepts and architectures to enterprise cloud projects.
  • Work closely with hardware and software professionals in hybrid, multi, and private cloud environments, contributing toward the network and datacentre elements for projects.
  • Support other teams and contribute toward your company's own cloud products.
  • Work closely with the customers, partners, and engineering team, communicating your solutions well.

Your skills

  • 3+ years of experience as a Private Cloud Engineer or System Engineer.
  • Virtualization, containerization, storage, and computing expertise.
  • An interest and experience in hyperconverged infrastructure and automation practices.
  • Fluent German and English language skills

  • Excellent time management and accountability.
  • Able to communicate well with customers.
  • An enthusiastic, driven, and motivated personality.
