You will be responsible for matching authorized and reliable transportation carriers to the shippers and coordinating all aspects of the freight transport process.

The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, an in-depth understanding of the transportation industry, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Skills Required:

• Proficiency in transportation management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Arrange transportation and manage the movement of freight from origin to destination.
• Identify and qualify carriers, negotiate rates, and secure capacity for shipments.
• Build and maintain relationships with shippers and carriers to ensure repeat business and foster long-term partnerships.
• Negotiate rates with carriers and ensure competitive pricing for shippers.
• Prepare shipping documents, contracts, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Address and resolve issues related to transportation delays, freight damage, and other logistics challenges.
• Monitor shipment progress, provide updates to clients, and maintain accurate records of all transactions.
• Keep abreast of market trends, industry developments, and competitive landscape to provide strategic insights.
