Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design and development of cutting-edge mechanical systems for electric vehicles
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software developers, and manufacturing specialists
Manage the full product lifecycle, from concept to production, ensuring designs meet performance, safety, and cost requirements
Utilize CAD software to create detailed models, drawings, and specifications
Oversee testing and validation of designs, troubleshooting issues and implementing design improvements
Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical leadership and support

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer in the automotive or related industry
Strong proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD)
Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) tools
Knowledge of electric vehicle systems, including battery technology and powertrains, is highly desirable
Ability to manage projects and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to engineering challenges
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
