iO are currently working with a large business working across multiple industries looking to hire a Lead Systems Engineer in to one of their more modest sites based in Northampton on a permanent basis. Working within a small dynamic team towards unified goal in a truly collaborative engineering environment.

Role responsibilities

• System architecture, requirements capture and management.
• Performance analysis.
• Successful delivery of road map.
• Management of internal and external resource.
• System design, test, verification, and appropriate documentation.

Key skills and experience.

• Considerable experience in a similar role.
• Systems engineering methods, toolsets, and processes.
• Proven ability to achieve tasks in complex engineering environments.
• RF Inhibition, RADAR, C2, optical and military grade systems would be hugely beneficial.

You will be working on improving and maintaining the businesses current systems, whilst also working on new product lines. This is the perfect step for a candidate who is looking to take a step up in their career and is comfortable working both independently, in a team and guiding other engineers within the business.

Offering a salary of up-to £65,000, a good benefits package including hybrid working (3 in 2 out) around flexible hours if required. SC clearance or willingness to obtain SC clearance required, dual citizens are considered.
