iO Associates have partnered with one of the UKs biggest defence companies, in the search for a Manufacturing Process and Governance Manager. As the Process and Governance Manager, you will be responsible for the governance of the Manufacturing Engineering discipline in line with the Life Cycle Management Systems.

Role responsibilities:

  • Opportunity to manage the governance and review procedures to guarantee that Manufacturing Engineering is in sync and provide assistance throughout the various stages of the product life cycle, including design, manufacturing, testing, and in-service support.

  • Manage the Manufacturing Engineering process and toolsets to enable the knowledge of the deployed programme teams.

  • Enable efficient process deployment, engagement, and a business-wide understanding of Manufacturing Engineering by managing the Manufacturing Engineering document library in the Business Management System

  • You will have the autonomy to be responsible for Manufacturing Engineering, for all Quality requirements and improvements, process and technical issues.

  • Assure Engineering that Manufacturing Engineering is adhering to its processes and duties.

  • Lead the Manufacturing Engineering Quality IWT and provide leadership in the interrogation of quality departures whilst ensuring that LFE is incorporated into the process.

You will need:

  • Experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Engineering degree or equivalent
  • IMECHE or IET qualified
  • Proven track record in Management & Leadership and delegating Technical Authority
  • SC eligible
