Materials Scientist - Fibre Spinning

Location: Luxembourg City, Luxembourg.
Contract: Full-time, permanent contract.
Working arrangements: Flexible working hours. Lab-based with home office when not needed in the lab.

Are you an experienced materials scientist with expertise in industrial-scale fibre spinning? We're seeking a passionate and driven individual to join a pioneering sustainable materials company in Luxembourg.

The Role:
As part of the R&D team, you'll focus on polymer fibre spinning and materials characterisation to develop cutting-edge recycling and circular economy processes. The role is hands-on, lab-based, and fast-paced, involving wet-spinning and advanced materials testing. You'll also support lab operations, engage with scientific partners, and contribute to projects in automotive, aerospace, and renewable energy sectors.

What You'll Need:

Experience: At least 2 years in industrial fibre spinning (not lab-scale).
Expertise: Polymer/materials chemistry, fibre/textile production, and mechanical/material testing.
Desirable: Experience with advanced materials like aramids, composites, or liquid crystalline materials.
