Role: Mechanical Design Engineer

iO have exclusively partnered with a design and manufacture company specialising in systems integration for special purpose machinery. As a Mechanical Design Engineer you will focus on the technologies and software that make up both bespoke and standardised machines.

Essential skillset and experience:

-Experience in Solid Works, Solid Edge or Auto Desk

-Special purpose machinery design and robotic cell design

-Experience in 3D printing

-Project management and planning

-Extensive machinery for manufacture experience

-Stakeholder / Supplier / Customer communications experience

They are looking for someone to come in at senior level and you would be expected to lead the mechanical design effort, taking responsibility for the design of the machines and lead on projects.
