Mechanical Production Engineer - Work Preparation Group
Location: Basel, Switzerland

Your Responsibilities:

  • Work in accordance with Design Organisation Exposition (DO-Handbook), Production Organisation Exposition (PO-Handbook), and Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE).

  • Ensure that engineering outputs comply with certification regulations, rules, and interpretations applicable to the product, system, or installation.

  • Liaise effectively with internal teams (Engineering, Project Management) and external third parties to ensure seamless communication and workflow.

  • Prepare production work and provide support, including the implementation of Production Change Requests (PCRs).

  • Manage and process engineering manufacturing data, including Work Orders (WO) in AMOS, tracking tools, archiving, and manufacturing tracing tags.

  • Oversee material information, including material ordering, standard parts management, and logistics coordination.

  • Provide administrative and organizational support to the Mechanical Production Engineering Manager.

  • Collaborate with production teams for engineering and manufacturing support.

  • Ensure the accurate processing of drawings, Engineering Change Orders, and the issuance of EASA Form 1 and Statements of Conformity.

  • Track and follow up on work package completion, ensuring adherence to production project planning and allocated hours.

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong knowledge of production planning and preparation.

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a production environment, preferably within aviation.

  • Degree in Aviation, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent qualification).

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Experience with ERP systems (preferably AMOS).

  • Fluent in English (German or French would be an advantage).
