£800/day inside IR35
9 month initial contract

iO Associates are working with a key central government organisation to find a Principal Technologist with a speciality in AI, to join them on a contract basis.

Required skills / knowledge:

Experience focusing on AI - strategy, adoption, governance etc.
Ability to develop a multi-year strategy for AI usage, including existing principles, standards and best practice.
Subsequently, form and lead a group of technologists from across UK Public Sector to collaborate on this.
Work with third party suppliers to maximise their offer to UK Public Sector, and with Crown Commercial Service in commercial engagements with vendors.
Undertake speaking engagements and attend community events to promote your work .
Experience leading complex digital and data change programmes
Experience engaging with suppliers/vendors both formally and informally
Excellent senior & c-suite stakeholder engagement skills
Comfortable coaching and mentoring those around you - helping to upskill others in your specialist area.
A background in Architecture, Data, IT Operations or Software Development.
Relevant industry certifications for your technical specialism.
