Salary range: €47,000 to €54,000 per year

iO associates are proud to be partnered with FibreCoat, a specialist materials Scale-Up, who are looking for a Process Engineer to work at their site in Aachen. The role is focused on the planning and implementation of continuous improvement processes for increase output and quality of the produced materials.

Due to the nature of the role, the ideal Process Engineer must have a minimum level of B1 in German.

FibreCoat are at the forefront of technology innovation in their industry, and provide their customers with specially produced materials that can be used in a diverse range of applications.

Requirements:

• Solid understanding of electrical and mechanical engineering
• Fluency in English and a minimum level of B1 in German
• High level of self-responsibility, independency, a willingness to learn and to travel for work occasionally

Nice to have:

• Knowledge in textile, material science, or polymer technology is desirable

Responsibilities:

• Analysis of existing production processes, set-actual comparisons, planning and implementation of continuous improvement processes for increased output and quality.
• Documentation of processes, definition of standard operation procedures, standardization across all production sites.
• Collaborating with on-site teams to develop solutions, communication of measures with on-site production engineers and operators.
• Interface to R&D, coordination of further development of production equipment, preparation of new production hardware for use in production.
• Support in daily operation in Aachen HQ (e.g. preparation of shipments, purchases, etc.)
