iO Associates has recently partnered with a leading special purpose machinery manufacturer, a prominent player in the pharmaceutical industry, who is on the lookout for a talented individual to join our dynamic team.

They are seeking a dedicated Project Engineer to join the team in Milton Keynes, you will responsible to ensure the technical delivery of the correct solutions to our customers, oversee the commissioning process, and secure the final handover and sign-off by the customer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct technical appraisals, scope, and design projects.
  • Perform site visits to confirm project scope with the customer.
  • Complete project scoping documents for internal and external use.
  • Develop project plans using Microsoft Project Planner.
  • Control project budgets and manage resource time, escalating issues promptly.
  • Prepare commissioning plans and technical documents.
  • Coordinate with the Head of Projects to ensure all required resources are in place.
  • Oversee final project handover and obtain customer sign-off.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in an engineering discipline, ideally process engineering.
  • Proficiency in reading technical documents and liaising with external parties.
  • Skilled in the use of AutoCAD.
  • Proficient with Office 365 suite.
  • HND or equivalent in an engineering field.

Desirable:

  • Process engineering experience.
  • Ability to read electrical wiring diagrams.
  • Experience using Microsoft Project Planner.
  • Experience managing small capital projects.
