A well-respected Manufacturing company based in North Lancashire are looking for a highly experienced Quality Engineer on a new 12 month contract which is highly likely to extend and move onto a Quality Manager position. The company work at the forefront of their industry and have recently won awards for their growth and pioneering engineering.

The Quality Engineer has sole responsibility for the quality assurance process in a manufacturing setting, utilising technical skills to enhance product integrity and customer satisfaction for a specified client project.

They are looking for someone with a proven track record in the automotive/OEM/manufacturing space.

Skills Required:

• Quality Assurance experience
• Strong technical skills and an eye for detail.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and customers.
• Quality Systems to ISO 9001, IATF16949 and other standards such as ISO14001.
• Experience of quality core tools including PFMEA, Control plan, PPAP, SPC, MSA, 8D and process capability, required.
• Professional qualifications in the core tools including PFMEA, Control plan, PPAP, SPC, MSA, 8D and process capability, preferred.
