iO Associates is seeking a skilled and motivated Quality Engineer to join a dynamic organisation in Redhill for a hybrid role. You will be working with a company that is a leading innovator in sustainable energy solutions, focusing on advanced technology for clean power generation, transforming the energy landscape with cutting-edge technology.
This is a great opportunity for a professional passionate about product and process quality in fast-paced manufacturing. You'll lead 8D investigations, drive New Product Introduction (NPI) using APQP, support technology transfer, resolve quality issues, and implement corrective actions to improve processes.

Experience and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in quality engineering, particularly in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
- Strong knowledge of the 8D problem-solving methodology and tools (e.g., Ishikawa, Red X, 5 Whys).
- Hands-on experience with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and New Product Introduction (NPI).
- Familiarity with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab) and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
- Knowledge of ISO9001/TS16949 quality systems and manufacturing principles.
- Experience working with various measuring and inspection equipment and the ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- A degree in Engineering or Manufacturing, or an equivalent qualification (HNC) with relevant experience in quality engineering.
