We are seeking a IT Release Manager that help us on a long term contract/b2b assignment working for a large Energy Company, who are based in Germany.

You can be located Europe-wide, have fluent English skills

Remote - with a 3 day block onsite per month in Berlin

Rate - is open 80-100€ per hour

Availability: November Start

Duration: 3 months rolling for 12-18 months

Duties:

The candidate should be experienced in release management, particularly in hybrid cloud environments, with proficiency in CI/CD tools, cloud platforms (GCP), and a strong understanding of automation and end-to-end deployment processes..

Experience:

Project Management & Scheduling - Expertise in planning and coordinating complex, multi-team release schedules, using tools like Jira and Confluence, while ensuring timely delivery and adherence to milestones.
Change Management - Strong understanding of change control processes, ensuring smooth integration of changes into the release cycle while managing risks and minimizing disruptions.
Cross-Functional Team Coordination - Proven ability to collaborate across development, QA, operations, and business teams, ensuring alignment and effective communication throughout the release process.
Risk & Issue Management - Skilled in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks, with the ability to coordinate the implementation and execution of contingency plans such as rollback procedures when necessary.
