Central Government DDaT Programme Manager
SC Cleared
Fully Remote
12 month contract + likely extension
Starting ASAP (Likely early December once clearances have transfered etc.)
iO Associates have partnered with a Central Government Department to bring in a Programme Manager who will lead a business critical Data Products, Systems & Analysis portfolio.
There will be two main areas of importance; one is the adoption of new data from a management system into operational products, and the other is regarding the build and delivery of new MI (Management Information) reports from this data.
For this role, you must hold active SC Clearance.
As the Programme Manager for this portfolio of work, you will:
- Be responsible for the Commercial and Financial aspects of the Programme
- Oversee and have due-dilligence over the prioritised activities to ensure value for money & ensure the correct level of prioritisation is used.
- Be responsible for the adoption of the new data into the Operational Products
- Oversee the Supplier (100+ team/s) and hold them accountable to deliver against pressing milestones.
- Work closely with the Data Heads to ensure discovery & delivery of MI reports are delivered against high-priority timelines.
- Have oversight of the adoption of a Data Platform within the business units
- Manage resource allocation of ~ 90 supplier reources and ensure compliance with on/offboarding
- Manage the programme performance and controls, maintaining overall integrity and coherence of the governance framework across each project
- Work with project leads to ensure dependencies are actively managed
Nice to haves:
- Develop and clearance of the business case with project leads and SMEs.
- Identify and manage stakeholder relationships and highlight need for senior level support. Manage internal and external relationships as appropriate.
- Provide direction and guidance on development to team and more broadly across departmental profession.
- Oversee risk and issue management. Ensures mitigations are in place and resolved through negotiated agreement.
- Ensure realisation of benefits for customers through planning and designing and that project outputs meet programme requirements
- Experience working in Data related programmes or portfolios
