Tasks

  • Break down monolithic applications into scalable microservices
  • Engage in production-grade development
  • Transition existing workloads to the cloud
  • Develop and maintain services on customer premises using Kubernetes

Requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
  • 3+ years as a Cloud or DevOps Engineer, preferably in the financial sector
  • Experience with cloud infrastructures, especially AWS
  • Proficiency with automation tools like Helm, Pulumi, Ansible, GitLab-Pipelines, or Jenkins
  • Strong skills in Python, Bash, and Java or Kotlin
  • Experience in containerized/clustered environments (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
  • Fluent in German (B2+) and English (B2)

Beneficial experience

  • Hands-on experience migrating or transforming legacy systems to the cloud
  • Practical experience with Pulumi or Terraform
  • Professional background in designing and operating solutions on-premises and on AWS
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK-Stack
  • Familiarity with OpenSearch/ElasticSearch, Kafka, and OAuth2
  • Experience with frameworks like Quarkus or SpringBoot
