iO Associates has partnered with a leading global provider of plant-based oils and fats, with a strong presence in the UK. They are major manufacturer and supplier of Sauces, Oils and Dressings.

We are looking for a Senior Quality Auditor to develop and ensure compliance to all food safety and quality standards. You'll be responsible for conducting regular internal audits to ensure compliance across all departments

Title: Senior Quality Auditor

Location: Runcorn, UK

Job: Permanent Job

Salary: upto £35,000 per annum

Shift timings: The successful candidate will be working 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday, on a rolling 3 shift pattern (6.00am - 2.00pm, 2.00pm - 10.00pm, 10.00pm- 6.00am)

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and ensure complete compliance to all food safety and quality standards including HACCP, legislation, ISO, BRC & customer COP's.
  • Conduct regular internal audits to ensure compliance across all departments.
  • Work with all departments to ensure root cause analysis is undertaken to facilitate continuous improvement projects and ways of working.
  • Assist with complaint investigations to ensure appropriate corrective and preventative actions are taken as well as assisting in the closure of audit non-conformances within the required timescales.
  • Perform hygiene checks to ensure standards are maintained.
  • Provide data for daily and monthly KPI reports and drive quality improvements across the site.
  • Ensuring the positive food safety culture across site

Skills/ Experience:

The successful candidate should have the following skills and experience.

  • Previous experience working in a similar role (FMCG experience advantageous)
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Food hygiene/HACCP qualification advantageous.
  • Able to work well within a team and on own initiative.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to find areas for improvement.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Able to make and communicate decisions.
