Regulatory Business Analyst: 9 month contract opportunity:
๐ 1st April - 31st December (9 months)

We are seeking several dynamic and detail-oriented Regulatory Business Analysts to join a team commencing work in April. If you have a passion for business analysis, technical setup, and regulatory compliance, this contract is a fit for you.
The below skills are to be distributed between several professionals, if you are a fit for most of the responsibilities but not all, you will be considered.
Requirements
- Familiarity with various platforms such as Avaloq (preferred).
- Extensive experience in converting regulations, reporting, platform implementation/integration, business analysis, and architecture alignments.
- In-depth knowledge of the EU/CH/UK regulatory landscape (e.g., MiFID II, ESG-related regulations).
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing abilities.
- Fluent English.
- Existing Swiss resident within commuting distance of Zurich or Geneva.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis
- Collect and document business and functional requirements related to EU/CH/UK regulations.
- Create detailed business requirements documents.
- Develop and deliver training sessions for affected users.
- Revise procedures to incorporate regulatory updates.
- Transform regulatory requirements into IT specifications.
Technical Setup
- Ensure alignment between Business Requirements Documents (BRD) and solution documents from providers.
- Evaluate and challenge proposed solutions.
- Assist in testing by defining test cases, executing tests, and coordinating efforts.
- Formulate detailed IT requirements.
Operations Regulatory Expert
- Engage in system enhancement and IT support process improvement projects.
- Review and implement methodological changes.
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of regulatory reporting requirements to ensure compliance.
- Address issues identified in reporting.
- Implement new regulations and changes effectively.
- Ensure robust processes and controls are in place for regulatory reporting tasks.
- Escalate issues that could lead to late or incorrect regulatory submissions to senior management.
Regulatory eKYC
- Lead eKYC development and GoLive in Central Europe.
- Link regulatory policy changes to business and IT requirements.
- Refine business requirements with a focus on interfaces and global alignment.
- Provide close support to all end-users and manage stakeholders.
- Prepare senior management presentations with clear communication to both IT and non-IT stakeholders.
