Senior Software Engineer (C# / .Net / Azure)

iO Associates are partnered with a well known financial brand who are seeking a Senior Software Developer to partner with Product Owners, Architects, Engineering Leads, and Executive Technology Stakeholders. Your mission will be to design and execute transformative fintech solutions.

Our client is dedicated to advancing our services through strategic investments in AI, Machine Learning, and automation technologies, all within a cloud-native (Azure), DevOps, and Agile ecosystem.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A proven track record in senior development & engineering roles, following industry best practices.
• Advanced expertise in modern C# and the .Net ecosystem (.Net 6 or later) within Azure environments.
• Strong front-end skills including JavaScript, React
• Proficiency in Event Driven Architecture.
• Experience in containerization with Docker or Kubernetes.
• A solid understanding of asynchronous vs parallel programming.
• Familiarity with concepts of immutability & idempotence.
• Experience in authoring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency with various document database technologies (e.g., Cosmos DB or Mongo DB).
• Skills in modern API development, e.g., Swagger.
• UI development experience with Blazor.
• In-depth knowledge of scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud engineering platforms.
• Exposure to Python, OpenAI, and Infrastructure as Code is a plus.
• Strong testing experience, including stress & load testing, with an understanding of the testing pyramid.
• Extensive experience in Agile, product-centric engineering environments.
