Software Engineer (C++ / Python / Embedded Systems) - Hybrid in Dublin

Are you a skilled Software Engineer with expertise in C++ and Python? I'm recruiting for an exciting hybrid role (2-3 days a week in the office) with a Dublin-based company that is pushing the boundaries in the energy sector by creating innovative energy distribution solutions.

The Role: This position offers you the chance to develop C++ application layer software while also using Python to build applications, not just for scripting but for a range of core functions. If you have some embedded systems experience, that would be highly valued as well. You'll be working on cutting-edge technology that plays a crucial role in modernising energy distribution.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain C++ application layer software for energy distribution solutions
Utilise Python for both application development and scripting tasks
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including software integration with embedded systems
Troubleshoot, optimise, and ensure the robustness of software systems

What I'm Looking For:

Strong proficiency in C++ (3+ years)
Proven experience in Python for application development, beyond just scripting
Ideally, some knowledge of embedded systems
Familiarity with Microsoft technologies
Strong analytical and collaborative skills
