I have been speaking with a very cool company that celebrates the rich history of football and as they continue to expand, we are now looking for an experienced Service Desk Engineer to join their dynamic IT team.
They have recently received huge funding and are expanding across the states and Europe.
IT and support is currently fragmented across the business, and we are looking for a Senior Level 3 Service Desk Analyst who can confidently own and manage internal IT systems, software and infrastructure for end users, warehouse operations and retail stores.
I am keen to speak with candidates who have experience being responsible for architecting, implementing, maintaining and supporting internal systems.
This role is essential in supporting their ongoing growth and ensuring that both their internal systems and customer-facing platforms operate seamlessly.
The company currently has around 200 users which will dramatically increase as the business expands.
This is a unique opportunity to build a brand new Service Desk function and your own team as the demand grows over the next coming months.
You must have technical skills across on premise systems, cloud systems, domains, security and networks.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about technology and eager to contribute to a company that values enthusiasm, expertise, and a customer-first approach.
Responsibilities include:
- Designing and implementing internal IT systems.
- Ensuring compliance across all systems.
- Overseeing vendor relationships and managing the purchase of IT equipment.
- Collaborating with various departments to translate requirements into effective solutions.
- Serving as the main point of contact for end-user support.
- Resolving internal IT issues and conducting advanced troubleshooting.
- Managing software deployments, patching, and upgrades.
- Developing standard hardware builds and managing automatic updates.
- Supporting the onboarding and offboarding of employees, including setting up and deactivating hardware and accounts.
Must-Have:
- Extensive knowledge of systems administration, cloud platforms, and IT security best practices.
- Experience in implementing a variety of technologies and familiarity with alternative solutions.
- Expertise in managing and maintaining company IT hardware and associated infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of networks, network protocols, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Proven experience in collaborating with vendors and establishing strong relationships.
This is your chance to work in a dynamic and supportive environment with genuine opportunities for growth and development, along with a competitive salary and benefits package.
