Software Engineer VB.NET.VB6

Hi,

I am working with a client, that is an expert in Equipment System Integration and Systems Support and help their client many of the biggest global corporations in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries-achieve their Six Sigma and OEE goals.

They are looking for a Software Engineer to work hybrid in Galway, create scalable, dependable, adaptable, reusable, and efficient manufacturing applications and help the department of equipment engineering build innovative systems and manufacturing and testing tools utilized in the creation and manufacturing of medical devices.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the design, implementation, unit testing, integration, release, and validation support phases of software development.
• Creation, development, monitoring, and writing of SQL scripts for databases.
• Give technical direction on matters pertaining to equipment-related products and processes.
• Encourage creativity and the incorporation of new technologies into the software team's development plans in a proactive manner.
• Make sure that the equipment solutions are provided on time and within the allocated budget.

Skills:

• 5+ years' experience developing software, using C#, VB.Net, and VB 6.
• Knowledge of relational database storage and data modelling (ideally SQL).
• Experience with data visualisation tool Tableau preferred, web application development, HTML, WPF preferred.
• Wear multiple hats and has capacity to oversee several projects at once while having strong multitasking and prioritization abilities.
