Tooling Designer
Location: Munich, Germany
Type: Working on-site is required (1 day per week home-office possible)

Duration: 12 Months (Extension/ Conversion possible)

Are you ready to contribute to the future of eco-friendly travel? My client is offering an exciting opportunity for a Tooling Designer who will be responsible doing design work which includes 3D modelling, 3D-model assemblies, 2D engineering drawings - assembly and part detail documentation.

Skills Required:

2-3 years of experience in tooling design for assembly and production purposes like tools, jigs, fixturing, stations, production equipment, etc.
Profound experience using Siemens NX (NX12-NX2212) on daily basis as a main duty, modelling, assembly, drafting
Knowledge about manufacturing methods, materials and processes

Responsibilities:

Preparing the concepts of the designs for requesters and review purposes.
Making critical decisions about design technical solutions and concepts.
Creating BOM using custom designed, standard and supplier part catalogues.
Changes in existing designs and performing documentation of existing products
