Title: 2nd Line Infrastructure Engineer (Network)

Salary: Up to £38,000 salary

Location: Swindon / Hybrid

An exciting IT Services Consultancy is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Infrastructure Engineer to join their service team and provide high level infrastructure support and solutions. This is due to rapid growth of the organisation and team.

The Infrastructure Engineer will be a senior member of the team, setting an example for others and using your technical knowledge and skills to resolve problems and deliver projects. They are looking for an Engineer with strong Back up and Storage experience who can be a senior subject matter expert in this area.

This role will include/require:

Networking LAN/WAN technologies o Switching (Cisco) o Routing (Fortinet and Juniper) o Load balancing (Fortinet and Kemp)

* VPN and encryption technologies * Secure managed WLAN (e.g. Aruba, Meraki or similar).

* Server OS support (Windows and/or Linux).

* VMware ESX and vCenter. * Working knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g. SolarWinds, Nagios etc).

* Must be able to hold an SC Security Clearance
