Associate Director (Practice Manager)

This role will require you to undergo SC Clearance if you do not already have it. Therefore you must hold ILR or a British Passport.

I am working with an exciting client who are global leaders in design, engineering, and project management. Their Project & Programme Services team is involved in some of the world's most prestigious projects.

Their Programme Advisory team has seen rapid growth, particularly in the infrastructure market, and they have ambitious plans for further expansion.

We are now looking for a Practice manager to lead a high-performing team, drive client delivery, and oversee operational management in their Manchester office.

You'd work closely with senior leaders to execute the strategic vision and expand the organization's presence in the region. The role is essential in delivering comprehensive solutions to clients and fostering strong, lasting relationships.

This team supports complex infrastructure clients across sectors such as Nuclear, Aviation, Defence, Water, Transportation, Power & Renewables. Experience in any of these sectors would be a huge plus.

  • Experience with P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management is extremey beneficial
  • You must have experience working within a consultancy setting

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the team, ensuring growth and satisfaction.
  • Client Engagement: Collaborate with client directors to identify opportunities and lead engagement.
  • Quality Management: Drive continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Collaboration: Work with other business units to enhance the brand and achieve strategic goals.
  • Advisory Services: Provide expertise in business transformation, portfolio management, and program efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
  • Commercial Strategy: Manage commercial demands and opportunities proactively.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as APM PMQ/PPQ/ChPP; MoP; MSP; PRINCE2, P3O, PROSCI, Lean, Six Sigma are required.
