Responsibilities
- Ensure the Certification Basis is fully aligned with the product, system, or installation, applying all relevant rules, regulations, Means of Compliance, and interpretations correctly.
- Maintain strong internal communication and coordination with external Third Parties.
- Serve as the Certification Engineer, overseeing compliance and certification processes.
Main Activities
- Lead and manage certification activities for outfitting and modification projects, coordinating between the Office of Airworthiness, Compliance Verification Engineers, Engineering Department, and external stakeholders like Air Authorities, Subcontractors, and DERs.
- Prepare certification documentation, including Certification Plans, Compliance Sheets, Master Data Lists, Design Change Classifications, and STC Applications.
- Conduct reviews of technical aircraft documentation and manage coordination efforts for operational aspects such as registration changes, aircraft imports/exports, and compliance with JAR OPS 1 (EU OPS).
- Provide support to the Head of Design Organisation and the Chief of Office of Airworthiness in both administrative and organizational tasks.
Skills and Qualifications
- Senior Engineer qualification with extensive experience and education in aviation engineering and design.
- Expertise in one or more of the following disciplines: Electrical, Avionics, Systems, or Mechanical engineering.
- Familiarity with various approval procedures such as EASA Part 21, CS, JAR, and FAR.
- Proficiency with MS Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication skills in English, with German or French as a bonus.
