We are looking for an experienced Automation Test Engineer to join a leading consultancy on a contract basis.

This is an initial 6-month contract with possibility to be extended beyond. Due to the exciting nature of the role and the projects you will be working on, you must hold an active UK*C DV Clearance to be eligible.

Location: Cheltenham

Rate: £500 to 550 p/d Inside IR35

Role Overview:

Be the go-to person for Test related queries and tasks.
Support the Lead Technical Consultant on requirements analysis and solution design, including estimating.
Communicate test results to technical and business stakeholders and work collaboratively to resolve issues raised.
Support the team to implement solutions, getting hands-on with test preparation and execution.
Engage with users, architects, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and agree test coverage.

Key Requirements:

Strong core testing skills that encompass testing of infrastructure and/or the ability to adapt testing skills to infrastructure verification.
Ability to create test cases using your in-depth technical analysis of both functional and non-functional specifications.
Experienced in designing automated test scripts in a modular fashion to facilitate reuse and maintenance.
