We are currently seeking an experienced Control System Engineer to join a thriving engineering solutions provider in Bellshill. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a company that plays a key role in the Whisky & Spirits industry, delivering cutting-edge automation and control solutions.

The Role:
As a Control System Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and commissioning automation software solutions for manufacturing environments. Projects range from small-scale system updates to full-scale plant automation, providing a varied and dynamic workload.
Key Responsibilities:
β Analysing client requirements to develop tailored control system solutions
β Developing and testing PLC/DCS, HMI & SCADA software
β Creating and maintaining detailed technical documentation
β Installing and commissioning automation systems on-site
β Collaborating with the Project Manager to ensure timely, high-quality project delivery
Who We're Looking For:
β Technical Expertise in:
- PLC (Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider)
- SCADA (Siemens, Rockwell, AVEVA, GE)
- DCS (Siemens)
β Preferred Qualifications: Degree (or equivalent) in an Engineering-related field
β Strong communication skills and a problem-solving mindset
β Full UK driving licence and eligibility to work in the UK
β¨ Desirable Experience:
- Background in Food & Beverage automation
- Knowledge of Functional/Machine Safety (BS EN 61511, BS EN 62061)
