An engineering client of ours is seeking an experienced Cost Engineer to provide cost management support across their work portfolio. The role will involve overseeing the monitoring, control, and forecasting of costs throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee cost trackers and work closely with Project Managers to manage contracts and forecasts.
• Monitor, analyse, and report on cost-related aspects of designated projects while implementing suitable cost management tools.
• Ensure accurate communication of cost variances and manage cost and contract transactions effectively.
• Collaborate with Finance and integrate cost management processes, actively participating in the change process and risk management.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

• Extensive experience across the full project lifecycle in regulated environments, with strong analytical and numerical abilities.
• Proficiency in estimating, scheduling, programming, and risk tools, alongside Earned Value Analysis.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent time management, and the ability to reconcile cost information with project progress.
• Relevant experience in Project Controls/Delivery, ideally with an engineering background in safety-regulated environments.
