Hi,
A close client of mine is in urgent need of Data Architect to come in and assist on a large data defence programme
Due to the nature of the end-client and the sensitivity surrounding the project, a lot of the details has to be disclosed right now. If you meet the criteria and hold the right level of security clearance (Developed Vetting/DV) then of course, I'd be more than happy to elaborate on the role in greater details over the phone.
This role would require you to be on-site 3 days per week, varying from Corsham & Cheltenham.
Job Description:
  1. Location: 3 days on-site (Cheltenham & Corsham)
  2. Rate: £750.00 - £850.00 pd (Inside IR35)
  3. Start Date: ASAP
  4. Duration: 12-months (likely extension)
  5. Clearance: Developed Vetting (DV)
Role Requirements:
  1. Create a Data Architecture HLD: Develop a high-level design for the new system's data architecture.
  2. Revise Transformation Roadmap: Identify and apply necessary changes to the current roadmap.
  3. Participate in Stakeholder Meetings: Foster team cohesion and collaborative processes with the program and suppliers.
  4. Join Project Meetings: Attend relevant project meetings.
  5. Develop Data Models: Design multiple data models that fulfill the organisation's requirements.
  6. Support Data Strategy Alignment: Ensure alignment with the organisation's data strategy.
  7. Establish Standards and Practices: Set standards and methodologies for data architecture.
  8. Ensure Data Model Quality: Be accountable for the quality assurance of data models.
  9. Advise and Oversee Project Teams: Provide guidance and oversee the data product life cycle management.
  10. Ensure Compliance with System Design: Ensure systems are designed in accordance with enterprise data architecture.
  11. Determine Data Storage Needs: Identify data storage requirements to inform hardware needs, including input for data centre design.
  12. Identify Data Movement Needs: Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to ensure efficient data architecture.
  13. Enhance Knowledge for Crown Servant: Provide information to enhance expertise in the specialist area for a Crown Servant.
  14. Contribute to Cross-Programme Roadmap: Assist in the development of a cross-programme product roadmap.
