Job Title: Data Engineer

iO Associates is seeking for skilled Data Engineers to build an innovative platform integrating risk management, research, trading analytics, and AI. This role suits those with expertise in developing robust data pipelines and an analytical mindset for enabling data-driven features.

As part of our engineering team, you'll develop systems that empower risk and research-focused hedge funds, covering software development, client integration, and strategic contributions to our core product.

Required:

Required 3-5 years in software engineering with a focus on data engineering.
Must have financial analytics or hedge fund/asset management experience.
Strong expertise in Python, SQL, and data libraries like pandas or polars.
Skilled in building production ETL pipelines using tools like Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect.
Experience with event-driven ETL and tools like DBT and DuckDB.
Proficient in optimizing transactional and analytical database systems, including Snowflake, MSSQL, and PostgreSQL.
