Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and talented Electrical Engineer to join a team team of 2. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for marine vessels. This includes creating electrical schematics, ensuring all designs comply with industry regulations, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical systems with other ship components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design Electrical Systems: Develop electrical systems for marine vessels, including power generation and distribution, using CAD software.
- Ensure Compliance: Ensure that designs meet international maritime regulations and standards, such as MCA and Lloyds Register.
- System Integration: Collaborate with mechanical, structural, and other engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
- Technical Documentation: Prepare detailed technical drawings, design specifications, and documentation for projects.
- Support and Troubleshooting: Provide technical support during vessel construction and installation, and assist in resolving any design or system issues.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in marine electrical design or a similar role.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
- Strong understanding of marine electrical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
