Io Associates is looking for an Tutor Client specializes in Education offering full apprenticeship programmes, direct NVQs, Graduate training and refresher programmes in Engineering subjects where you will design, prepare, and deliver engaging teaching sessions in the specified subject area and provide learners with appropriate feedback, guidance, and support as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the team to plan and deliver subject-specific teaching sessions.
Identify and assess learners' individual needs, tailoring course content and delivery to create inclusive sessions.
Provide constructive verbal and/or written feedback during first-year progress reviews.
Prepare timely formal learner reports, ensuring learners and/or employers receive progress updates.
Use tracking systems to monitor learner progress, identify issues such as slow progress, and provide additional guidance and support when required.
Develop, update, and review schemes of work, lesson plans, and resources to maintain relevance and quality.
Offer advice on further learning and progression opportunities to learners as appropriate.
Contribute to the annual training programme and attend team meetings.
Positively promote the organisation and its services.
Assist in the implementation of the business plan, self-assessment report, and quality improvement initiatives.
Maintain discipline and ensure cleanliness within the centre.
Uphold high standards of health, safety, and welfare for all learners, staff, and visitors.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry standards.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

Relevant teaching qualification and experience at the required level.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and organisational abilities.
Capacity to motivate learners and foster active participation.
