Equipment Systems Engineer
Equipment Systems Engineer or Project Engineer will contribute to the development of Docking and Berthing Systems (IBDM) for the International Habitat. In this role, you will be involved in the entire project lifecycle, providing critical support for the engineering development.
Responsibilities:
- Manage high-level technical requirements, engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
- Convert these high-level requirements into detailed design, development, and test specifications for subsystems and components.
- Oversee the project's technical baseline, ensuring alignment with scope.
- Maintain a holistic view of the design process, collaborating across various technical disciplines (mechanical, thermal, electronic, software).
- Ensure technical coherence throughout the project.
- Plan and execute functional and performance tests at both the system and subsystem levels.
- Conduct initial system and subsystem analyses.
- Support technical budgeting and assist in decision-making processes.
- Prepare technical reports and ensure consistency across project documentation.
Profile:
- Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Knowledge of developing space mechanisms is advantageous.
- Experience in writing technical reports and communicating technical details.
- Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel.
