Fullstack Developer - Remote/UK - £60,000 - £70,000

I'm pleased to be supporting is a small systems integrator company with a focus within the rail industry. They apply well-established disciplines like logical data modelling and structured analysis and design to current cloud-based technologies to deliver exceptional solutions.

Until recently, their solutions have been comprised of database clusters paired with API resources for system-to-system integration. They now have increasing requirements to deliver web-based user-facing solutions for two very exciting new projects. Now looking for a talented fullstack developer to support this.

Technologies:

The strategy for front-end web applications is as above (Lambda/API Gateway) backing onto web pages using:

· TypeScript

· React

· AWS Amplify

They are using Git for source control (hosted in Bitbucket), Jira for ticket management and Confluence for shared documentation. Everything else is done using Microsoft 365 (Teams, Sharepoint, Exchange etc.)

Their solutions are based exclusively in AWS, and they have a clear strategy of serverless system components.

· AWS CDK (CloudFormation)

· AWS Lambda

· Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL compatible

· AWS EventBridge

· Amazon API Gateway

Finally, most application control logic is developed using Python 3.x, implemented as AWS Lambda functions. However, they have some highly mathematical components written in Go for performance.

Responsibilities:

· Work with the Technical Director to crystallise their front-end development architecture, frameworks, libraries and working practices

· Lead the development of the front-end elements of two rail solutions

· Collaborate with the rest of the team to make important design decisions

If this is something you'd like to explore further, please apply with an updated CV and I will contact you accordingly.
