iO Associates have partnered with a Global Food Manufacturing company who are looking for a Head of Procurement to join their team in Chiswick Park.

This is a global company which has a longstanding history and have many well known brands, put people first and have a good track record of developing those that are ambitious and willing to get stuck in.

You'll be managing the supply base performance and lead issue resolution whilst understanding the market fundamentals on a regional and global scale to develop key supply partners to support the growth agenda. You'll be the face of Packaging procurement actively across UKI and Global Procurement and establish the regional category governance framework aligned with global standards and policies.

Qualifications and Experience:

Graduate qualification or proven experience in indirect procurement.
Negotiation and commercial analytical skills Supplier/Customer relationship management experience or excellent inter-personnel skills with the ability to form strong working relationships
Project management and leadership skills, including how to make a strong recommendation
The ability to think strategically and set a 3 year category plan.
The ability to lead many workstreams and work in a team whilst managing key stakeholders
Demonstrate experience of developing, leading, and delivering change implementation within an organisation
Excellent communication and influencing skills within the team and across the business.
Cocoa & chocolate category experience is desirable.
MCIPS or equivalent certification is desirable.
