Integration and Test Engineer

iO Associates are working closely with a leading technology provider in the Defence and National Security space; they are looking for Test Engineers at all levels to join the growing team on a permanent basis. You will be working on a hybrid basis with a mix of onsite collaboration (4-day a week in Gloucestershire), and remote work.

Due to the exciting nature of the role and the projects you will be working on, you must hold an active DV or enhanced DV Clearance to be eligible.

You will play a critical role in integrating, testing, and securing a range of complex systems and applications. You will work within a multi-disciplinary team, leveraging DevSecOps principles and best-in-class tools to ensure optimal performance and security.

Key Requirements:

• Demonstrable experience in Test and Integration, preferably in an Agile environment.
• Experience delivering within Scrum and Sprints, using tools like Jira and Confluence for planning and collaboration.
• Strong understanding of Agile and DevSecOps methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with:
  • CI/CD Pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins)
  • Automated Testing Frameworks (Commercial & Open Source)
  • Version Control & Collaboration Tools (Git, Atlassian Suite, Jira, Confluence)
• Expertise in functional and non-functional testing, with a focus on automation and reporting.
• Experience setting up and managing test environments and implementing Blue-Green deployment strategies.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills in complex, large-scale software systems.
