Lead Data Software Engineer

We are working with a market leader in the tech sector who are looking to grow out their data/software team. Our client is working on a global scale developing tech AI solutions for a variety of their key clients.

Key Qualifications:

• Proven expertise in developing robust data pipelines using Python and SQL
• Proficient in leading projects on major cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or Google
• Hands-on experience with Data Lakes and Data Warehouses
• Track record of successfully building and deploying microservice APIs in Java or .NET
• Skilled in establishing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous self-improvement and learning

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with big data platforms such as EMR, Databricks, or DataProc
• Advanced knowledge of optimizing data structures for optimal performance
• Understanding of Data Security and Governance principles
• Experience implementing automated data quality checks and metrics
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates, etc.)
