Manufacturing Engineer - Oil & Gas Sector

The Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to lead key initiatives, including:

Designing assembly and hydraulic test processes tailored to the oil and gas sector.
Driving lean projects to streamline operations and reduce waste.
Implementing advanced controls and automation systems to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
Supporting new product introductions, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption.
Optimising production flows for high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environments.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will bring:

A solid background in the oil and gas industry, with hands-on experience in manufacturing and assembly.
A Bachelor's degree in Engineering and a strong technical foundation.
Proven expertise in lean principles, hazard identification, and resource optimisation.
A proactive approach, excellent problem-solving skills, and a desire to continuously improve processes.
Experience in Design for Excellence (DfX) principles and a track record of creating efficiency's in complex environments.
