New Model Manufacturing Engineer

Up to £29.93/hour (via Umbrella)

iO Associates is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join one of our client's growing Manufacturing Engineering department. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our business plan, supporting the development of new models and creating processes to ensure the perfection of every model we build.

Key Deliverables:

Collaborate with concept design and engineering teams to develop and create processes for new model introductions
Lead the creation of vehicle assembly concepts, from virtual environment to physical validation and delivery
Develop and document process sequencing and product traceability methodologies
Drive the implementation of best practices to improve production efficiency and quality
Identify and resolve production bottlenecks through line balancing and facility layout optimization
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in concept/design reviews and engineering release deliveries

Qualifications:

Experience in planning and execution of new vehicle programs
Strong understanding of complex vehicle systems and assembly processes
Familiarity with end-of-line vehicle processing/finishing and assembly equipment procurement
Ability to identify and resolve product-related issues in a timely manner
