iO Associates are looking for a Manufacturing Team Leader - Facility Management with over 3 years of experience in Oil & Gas, Nuclear industry, or a relevant engineering background to work within manufacturing operational environment. The ideal candidate will support the execution of Sourcing & Manufacturing priorities in line with the business goals, ensuring the on-time delivery of goods and services. This role involves problem-solving, developing, and executing short-term initiatives, and supporting long-term supplier and departmental improvements.

Job Title: Manufacturing Team Leader - Facility Management
Location: Newcastle, United Kingdom
Pay Rate: £24.65 per hour inside IR35 (Estimated £50,000 annually)
Tenure: 12 months with extension

Responsibilities:

  • Manage internal logistics activities for factory operations, specializing in movements of Finished and Semi-Finished goods.
  • Drive culture to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals.
  • Plan, coordinate, and direct all internal logistics operations to ensure maximum throughput and quality, aligned with the Master Production schedule.
  • Oversee and manage front-line manufacturing employees, typically managing hourly employee populations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree, HND, or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive manufacturing experience, preferably as a supervisor or team lead.
  • Experience generating production plans and progress delivery reports using Oracle, Excel, or Tableau.
