NEC Analyst

Job Title: Senior Application Analyst - NEC Housing Management system

Contract - 3 months to start with (can extend upto 2 yrs.)

Location: London ( 1-2 times in a month onsite)

Salary: £300 Inside IR 35

iO is looking for a Senior Applications Analyst who will work on the service requests and tickets coming from NEC system users and provide support and knowledge transfer to the existing team for the Allocations/ Rents/ Estates modules.

You will work with service users across Housing Management to understand their requests and provide guidance and support. You will be able to work with data and TOAD (Database management toolset) for user reporting needs such as HCLIC (data return on homelessness). You will have experience of working with the NEC version 23.1, or recent version.

Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Application Support Manager, you will be responsible for providing subject matter expertise for the Allocations, Rents and Estates module both to the internal team and external users across Housing Management.
• You provide 1st and 2nd line support to different internal and external stakeholders. You will advise on system related matters.
• You will work closely with the other IT teams as required in the delivery of support.

Skills required:

• As the Senior Applications Analyst-NEC system, you should have:
• Substantial experience of IT 1st/2nd Line support of NEC version 23.1 or recent version on Allocations/Rents/Estates modules.
• Substantial experience of business processes/knowledge in the Allocations, Rents and Estates Services.
• Experience of using SQL and toad for data management, scripting and reporting.
• Experience of working on NEC Rent arrears/collection/accounting, Rent cards, Rent charges, Arrears Action Codes, Rent escalation policies.
• Experience of Managing Choice Based Lettings properties on NEC, Choice Based Lettings data imports, Home Connections bidding, Derived Questions, HCLIC returns
• Experience of managing NEC batch jobs, job profiles, security, DTI exports, API's and Integrations.
