We are actively seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to join our client's Water Business in various locations across the UK. This is an exceptional opportunity to be part of an ambitious and experienced team, providing Electrical Instrumentation Control and Automation (EICA) design services for a range of projects.

The Opportunity:
Our client is dedicated to pushing boundaries and delivering forward-thinking solutions that meet the evolving needs of clients across the UK water industry. In this role, you will enhance their reputation within the local community and the Water Business. You will be involved in the entire project lifecycle, from optioneering to detailed design and installation, including feasibility studies, site surveys, and investigations.

As an experienced EICA Engineer, you will collaborate with project managers, technical leaders, design engineers, clients, supply chain partners, contractors, planners, and other stakeholders to achieve positive project outcomes. You will assess existing electrical and ICA infrastructure to develop and deliver EICA designs. Candidates with experience in the energy infrastructure and environmental sectors are also welcome.

Responsibilities:
- Provide EICA design services for water projects.
- Participate in the project lifecycle from optioneering to detailed design and installation.
- Conduct feasibility studies, site surveys, and investigations.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to achieve project outcomes.
- Assess and develop EICA designs for existing infrastructure.
- Mentor and support less experienced team members.
- Produce technical specifications, control philosophies, schedules, reports, Single Line Diagrams, Block Cable Diagrams, Network Infrastructure Diagrams, General Arrangement Drawings, 3D models, and Process & Instrumentation Diagrams.
- Engage in technical presentations, collaborative design discussions, technical workshops, HAZOPs, and ALMs.

Requirements:
- Chartered or Incorporated member with the IET.
- Extensive experience in EICA design, ideally within the water industry.
- Proficiency in writing technical specifications, control philosophies, schedules, and reports.
- Experience in producing technical diagrams and infrastructure layouts.
- Strong communication skills for technical presentations and collaborative discussions.
