Production Engineer - R&D

Location: Aachen, Germany
Salary Range: 45.000€ to 55.000€ per annum.
Contract: Full-time, permanent.

We are currently seeking a hands-on Production Engineer to join their R&D team in Aachen, playing a vital role in building, testing, and improving advanced machinery and components.

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble, optimise, and test machinery and components used in the development of FibreCoat's innovative materials.
Collaborate with engineers to develop and test R&D prototypes and systems.
Ensure operational readiness and reliability of laboratory equipment.
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, resolving issues efficiently.
Maintain detailed records of builds, tests, and experimental results.
Uphold safety standards and best practices in the lab environment.

Requirements:

Strong practical knowledge of machinery assembly and mechanical systems. Candidates from a manufacturing machine maintenance background are well suited.
Experience working in an R&D setting or with prototyping is highly advantageous.
Self-motivated, resourceful, and able to adapt in a fast-paced scale-up environment.
Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.
