Location: Aachen, Germany

iO Associates are proud to be partnered with FibreCoat, a scale-up at the forefront of high-performance materials innovation. We are looking for a driven Quality Engineer (m, f d) to take ownership of quality management and certification processes. This role offers the opportunity to shape FibreCoat's approach to quality and has potential to grow into a leadership position.

Your Role:

  • ISO Certification & Quality Management: Finalise the implementation of ISO 9001 and, in the future, other standards. Define how we measure product quality, when to measure, and what actions to take in case of non-conformance.
  • Implementation of a QMS
  • In-House Quality Champion: Oversee product quality for fibres, push quality initiatives internally, and work closely with operators and engineering teams.
  • Project Management: Manage quality-related projects, liaising with external consultants, regulatory bodies (such as TÜV), and internal departments.

Your Profile:

  • Academic Background: Master's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: minimum 1 year in quality management, certification, or compliance (ISO 9001, CE, or similar). Aerospace or automotive experience is a plus.
  • Languages: English is required. German is highly preferred, especially for CE certification and working with regulatory bodies.
  • Skills & Mindset: Hands-on, structured, and proactive-we need someone who will drive quality, challenge processes, and ensure compliance across teams.

Why Join FibreCoat?

  • Be part of a fast-growing company making an impact in materials science.
  • Work in a role with high visibility and responsibility-your work will directly shape FibreCoat's quality strategy.
  • Opportunity to grow into a management position, overseeing quality, certification, and compliance.
  • Supportive team environment with strong potential for professional development.
