Senior Accountant

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 pa
Location: London (Hybrid)

Finitas are working with this leading London Market Insurer in their search for a Senior Accountant (Reinsurance) to join the team.

You will collaborate with the team to produce, maintain, reconcile, and analyse the accounting ledger

Requirements:

• Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA) with insurance sector experience.
• Strong grasp of UK/US GAAP and IFRS in insurance.
• Familiar with Lloyd's market, financial regulations, and core market returns.
• Proficient in automating finance processes and managing large data models.
• Advanced skills in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit Lloyd's and regulatory returns.
• Ensure accurate balance sheet reconciliations.
• Resolve BAU issues and review financial results for accuracy.
• Develop reports and presentations for committees.
• Collaborate with external auditors and ensure timely, quality outputs.

As per the above, this role will be up to 4 days onsite.
