Landing Gear Systems Engineer - Munich, Germany

(12-Month Contract, Extension Possible)

Are you an expert in landing gear systems with a passion for shaping the future of aerospace technology? We are seeking an experienced Landing Gear Systems Engineer to join a dynamic aviation project based in Munich, Germany on a 12-month contract, with the potential for extension.

Your Role:

As a key technical leader, you will take full responsibility for the design, development, and certification of the landing gear system. This role involves close collaboration with external suppliers, regulatory bodies, and internal teams, offering a hands-on opportunity to contribute to an aircraft program from concept to certification.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical ownership of the landing gear system development and modifications.
Sizing, integration, and verification & validation (V&V) in line with ARP4754 standards.
Preparation of Part 21 compliance documentation.
Conduct and assess safety analyses at both system and equipment levels.
Develop specifications and other type design documents.
Represent the company in EASA panel meetings.
Support qualification, ground, and flight test activities.
Perform technical trade studies and develop solutions to in-service issues.

Required Qualifications:

Master's Degree or Diploma in Aerospace Engineering.
Over 10 years of experience in the aerospace industry.
Proven experience in new product development from inception to certification.
Recognized expertise in landing gear systems.
