An incredible chance awaits to participate in the creation of a groundbreaking, next-generation all-electric aircraft poised to transform the landscape of long-distance travel in the near future.

My client is in immediate need of a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to take charge of the design and development of airframe primary load path components and assemblies.

Role overview:

• You will be instrumental in realizing our cutting-edge aircraft by contributing to the design of metallic or composite parts and the development of mechanical systems.
• Employing aerospace best practices, design and develop primary load path components and assemblies for the airframe, incorporating both metallic and composite materials.
• Utilize Siemens NX as a 2D and 3D CAD software to design and optimize components and assemblies within the purview of the Structure IPT.

Additional qualifications include:

• Possession of a university degree in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical/Vehicle Engineering, with a preference for an aerospace specialization and an MSc/M.Eng degree.
• A minimum of 8 years of professional experience within the aerospace industry is mandatory.
• Demonstrated detailed and comprehensive understanding of composite and metallic structures, along with their design principles, is essential.
• Proficiency in a CAD system is a prerequisite, with a preference for expertise in Siemens NX.
