iO Associates is working on an exclusive basis with a well-known and recently expanding client in the Digital, Cyber & IT space who works closely with the Defence industry.

The part of the business that the successful applicant will be joining is focused on delivering technology based research projects (with the potential to also deliver the technology once the research is complete). Some examples of their usual projects include Mobile (iOS / Android) & Automotive technology so experience in these areas would be useful but not paramount.

Key job role:

As the Senior Project Manager, you will simultaneously cover up to 25 projects at any one time, so strong organisational skills are paramount.

You will be the go-to person for all of communication with your MOD/ Defence stakeholders & liaise back to your internal teams.

This role is predominantly Project Delivery focused, and you would not be expected to help with Business cases, bid work or commercial activities so will be very well suited to someone who wants to stay within client-facing Project Management.

Alongside your own projects, you will also support and guide the 2 x Junior Project Managers as they deliver some of the non-cleared, private sector projects that our client is delivering.
