Your Role

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and developing high-performance software applications for an innovative medical imaging system. You will work alongside a highly skilled, multinational team in a dynamic startup environment, contributing to groundbreaking healthcare solutions.

Your Responsibilities

Software Architecture & Development: Design, implement, and maintain a stable and scalable software architecture for advanced medical applications.
Feature Implementation: Plan, develop, document, and test new software features using modern development practices.
Code Quality & Reviews: Ensure high software quality through code reviews, automated/manual testing, and continuous integration.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers and clinical experts, to develop and refine innovative medical imaging technologies.
Technology Stack: Utilize modern tools such as C++20, GPGPU programming, CMake, Git, CI pipelines, Jira, and ALM tools to streamline development and deployment.


Your Profile

Education & Experience: BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Medical Imaging, or related field, with 3+ years of experience in software development.
Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in C++ for Windows/Linux development; experience with BDD/TDD methodologies.
Bonus Skills: Knowledge of Rust, GPGPU programming, and regulatory standards for medical software (ISO 62304) is a plus.
Problem-Solving Mindset: Hands-on, creative approach to solving complex technical challenges.
Team Player: Strong work ethic, startup mindset, and willingness to mentor and support colleagues.
Communication: Excellent English communication skills; German is a plus.
